I BELIEVE IN CHRIST RULE. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN ELDERSHIP RULE

I DO NOT BELIEVE IN ELDERSHIP RULE
 I don't believe in "Eldership Rule," but I do believe  alone Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior is my ruler--"
READ JOHN 10:1-4, 9-16, 26-29
"...I am the door: by Me if an, ym..an enter in he shall be saved, and he shall go in and out, and he shall find pasture....(v11)I am the good pastor(shepherd--poimos):
the good pastor giveth His life for the sheep....{v14) I am the good pastor (poimos) and know my sheep, and am known of mine."
(16) Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold....and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold and one pastor,...(27) My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow me."
READ JEREMIAH 3:15
"I will give you pastors (shepherd-poimos--LXX) according to mine heart, which feed--(pastorize--poimos ) with knowledge and understanding."
READ 1PETER 5:4
"When the Chief Shepherd (arch-poimos) shall appear, ye shall recieve a crown of glory that fadeth not away."

In discussing one pulpit message about being born again with the speaker (an elected Elder). I thought it was great message doctrinally--I thought I'd compliment him about it.

When I talked with him about it; He said it was from John Piper--who has a great commentary on John's "Born Again," and then he added "so why reinvent the wheel?" meaning why not just use his stuff.

This speaker is a great guy, and a great speaker with a good platform appearance--very casual and humorous. He probably could recite the ABCs and get a good laugh.
So why "reinvent the wheel?"
I thought to myself --well sure there's plenty of "canned stuff" out there.

That's great, but that's not what I want.  I believe the speaker for God should be getting something from God.

Commentaries are good to confirm what I think I got from God.

One problem in criticising an elected elder--he's liked by everybody--isn't he popularly elected--who am I ti criticise?
All right I could just stay at home.  But being absent

Shouldn't I just go along to get along?

First for all historical church facts show some Baptist today are not even baptist--"ruling elders" is a presbyterian distinction not Baptist.
I do believe in "Christ ruling" and He is our pastor through the man standing before us.

I don't believe in "Eldership Rule"--"I do believe in Christ ruling"

God the Holy Spirit speaks through the under-pastor (1 Peter 4:10-11,5:4) who speaks the Written Word (what the Holy Spirit gave to the Apostolic writers).

The words of the "one pastor - the Good Pastor--True Shepherd  come to His Flock through a God-appointed underpastor many millennium later.

In John 10, the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of the good shepherd--the Apostle John wrote that in Greek. That is the same Greek word the Apostle Paul used in Ephesians 4:11.  What does that mean?
When Jesus Christ says "I am the good shepherd…." John wrote the Greek poimhn also meaning pastor.

Jesus  also said,
14
I am the good shepherd      . I know my own, and I`m known by my own;
15
even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.
16
I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
